An ABHA account gives every citizen a unique digital health ID, making it easier to access healthcare services, manage medical records, and receive treatment without carrying paper documents. Whether you’re visiting a government hospital, a private clinic, or consulting a doctor online, your ABHA account helps keep your health information organized and accessible whenever you need it.

The Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA) is a unique 14-digit digital health ID created under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM). It enables citizens to securely store and share their health records with authorized healthcare providers after giving their consent. Think of ABHA as a digital identity for your healthcare journey. Instead of carrying multiple prescriptions, reports, and medical files, you can keep your health information connected through a single account.

Create ABHA Number

Method 1: Using Aadhaar Card

1. Visit the official ABHA portal.
2. Click Create ABHA Number.
3. Select Aadhaar Card.
4. Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number.
5. Verify the OTP sent to your Aadhaar-linked mobile number.
6. Confirm your details and create an ABHA Address (e.g., yourname@abdm).
7. Your 14-digit ABHA Number is generated instantly. Download and save your ABHA card.

Method 2: Using Driving Licence

1. Visit the official ABHA portal.
2. Click Create ABHA Number.
3. Select Driving Licence.
4. Enter your Driving Licence number, Date of Birth, and State.
5. Verify your mobile number using the OTP.
6. Create your ABHA Address.
7. Your 14-digit ABHA Number is generated. You may later complete KYC verification at a participating healthcare facility if required.
