The Government introduced the scheme under Since the ownership of land provides dignity in society, the State Government introduced the scheme in the year 2004 – 05 to purchase land in the name of Adi Dravidar and Tribe women to empower them. In the scheme role the land will be means that priority will given by the women belonging the Scheduled Caste. If in there absence of the women family, the priority will given by her husband or sons.
Tamil Nadu Adi Dravidar Housing & Development Corporations Ltd. (TAHDCO) Government of Tamil Nadu undertaking & established to improve the socio-economic status of Adi Dravidar and Tribal communities in the state. The organization will established and implement the various welfare schemes aimed at supporting education, self-employment, skill development, housing, land purchase.

Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant Should be a Scheduled Caste (SC) women.
- The applicant should Be between 18 and 55 years of Age.
- The applicant must be resident of Tamil Nadu.
- The applicant annual family income should not exceed ₹3 Lakh.
- The applicant should not own agricultural land already.
- The applicant occupation should be Agriculture.
- The applicant or the family member should not have previous availed subsidy under the scheme.
- The Applicant and her family members should not have sold or transferred agricultural land to others during the previous 5 year.
- The applicant have the required community, income, identity and other supporting document.
- The agricultural land proposed to be purchased must meet the land and other conditions by the TAHDCO.

How to Apply NMNUT Scheme
