- Permanent House: Eligible hut-dwelling families can receive support to construct a safe and permanent concrete house.
- Financial Assistance: The scheme provides financial assistance for house construction; the first phase provided ₹3.50 lakh per house.
- Larger House: The minimum plinth area is 360 sq. ft., including the kitchen.
- Free House Site: Families without a house site can be provided a free house site, subject to the scheme’s rules.
