Free Housing Scheme – Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urbab 2.0

Abou The Scheme
Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) is a flagship housing scheme launched by the Government of India with the vision of “Housing for All.” The scheme aims to help eligible families own a pucca (permanent) house with basic amenities such as a kitchen, toilet, electricity, and water supply. It covers both urban (PMAY-U) and rural (PMAY-G) areas through separate components.
The scheme provides financial assistance or housing-related support to eligible beneficiaries for constructing, purchasing, or improving a house, depending on the applicable component and eligibility criteria. The current PMAY-Urban 2.0 also supports additional eligible urban families through multiple assistance options.
