Who can Apply For PMEGP Loan
- The applicant should be 18 years or above.
- There is no income ceiling for an individual seeking assistance for a new PMEGP project.
- For projects above the prescribed cost threshold, the applicant should have at least 8th-standard educational qualification.
- The proposed enterprise should be an eligible activity under PMEGP.
- The project should generally be a new unit.
- Existing units that have already availed government subsidy under certain other schemes may not be eligible for another PMEGP subsidy for the same purpose.
- The applicant must be capable of implementing the proposed project and meeting the requirements of the financing bank.
