About PMMVY Scheme
The Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandhna Yojana (PMMVY) Scheme was maternity Benefit Scheme Launcher by Government of India to provide the Financial support for the eligible women & pregnant women. The scheme aims to support women during the pregnancy and after child birth those family who had a low income family to establish.
The maternity women can eligible under the scheme a two living child the first child was a Girl. The first child maternity benefit was ₹ 5,000 is provided the two installment, under the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana benefit under the Janani Suraksha Yojana (JSY). For the second child, the benefit of ₹6,000/- is to be provided subject to second child is a girl child, in one installment after the birth. Cases of miscarriage/ still birth the case will conducted from the new case.

Cash Benefit for the First Child :

Cash Benefits for Second Child
Under the scheme the beneficiary can receive the ₹ 6,000 in a single installment for the second delivery if the child is a “Girl”.

Eligibility Of the PMMVY Scheme
- The Applicant Should be at least 19 years old and a pregnant women.
- The applicant should be employed and experiencing wage-lose due to the pregnancy period.
- The scheme is applicable only for the first live birth.
- Eligible benificiary can apply for the benifit under PMMVY scheme within 270 days of child birth
- If a Benificiary delivers Twins/ Triplets/ Quadruplets in her second pregnancy, with more child being a girl, she will receive the incentives for second girl child as per PMMY 2.0 norms.

Application Process
- Step 1 – Citizen visit the official website of the Ministry and click on the Citizen login tab.
- Step 2 – Enter mobile number and verify. Then enter details like Full Name, State, District, Area, Block, Village and relationship with beneficiary. Then click create account button.
- Step 3 – Once account is created. Click on Login tab on main homepage of the website.
- Step 4 – Now, enter the User ID, Password and Captcha code. Then apply for the scheme.
- Step 5 – After successful login, click on the “Data Entry” tab and choose the option “Beneficiary Registration”.
- Step 6 – Now, enter all the detailed personal details on the Beneficiary registration page.
- Step 7 – Choose suitable option under the Scheme applying for First Child OR Second Child.
- Step 8 – Once all the form details are completed. Click Submit Button.
