1. For the First Time Employee :

• Must be Joining Formal Employment for the First time and it covered to be EPFO
  
  
• Must Have Valid UAN ( Universal Account Number )
  
  
• Employee must be Created during the eligible period Specific under the scheme
  
  
• The Applicant must satisfy the monthly wage Salary limit to the prescribed salary limit
  
  
• The employee should complete the required period of employment to receive the applicable incentive.
  

2. For the Employers :

• The establishment must be registered with EPFO.
  
  
• The employer must create additional employment over the prescribed reference employment level.
  
  
• The establishment must meet the applicable requirements regarding EPFO contributions and employee retention.
  
  
• Employers must comply with the scheme’s conditions for claiming incentives.
  
  

Document Required

Application Process

For Establishments

• Visit the EPFO portal and complete the establishment registration process.
  
  
• Update the PAN, GST details and bank account information correctly.
  

For Employees

• Download the UMANG App and generate a UAN.
  
  
• Complete Aadhaar authentication using Facial Authentication Technology.
  

For Benefit Disbursement

• The employer must file the monthly ECR and deposit EPF contributions.
  
  
• Continue filing ECR for the required six wage months to process the eligible benefits.
  

After Registering

• Complete the required Financial Literacy Course through the EPFO employee portal.
  
  
• Track benefit status and raise complaints through the EPFO grievance portal, if required.
